  • Which brings me to the question I have asked Paul supporters on here repeatedly, "why do you associate yourself with the GOP instead of being a true 3rd party?" This has been going on since 1988 and the GOP is no closer to listening or accepting Ron Paul's views as their own.

  • I'll offer to take their perception even further. I believe they truly equate rich and white with Republicans .... poor and minority with Democrats. Funny that the richest people live in Blue states and the poorest states are Red.

  • Dean as a Texan and one time Paul constituent, I would have more belief in him and respect for him if he had been running as a true 3rd party candidate since 1988 instead of hiding in the GOP.

  • I got caught up in the "feel good" days of the Reagan presidency in my personal finances and ran up lots of debt. Kept spending and spending, whipping out the credits card(s) as my family got bigger and older.

  • Jonathan, I feel your pain in regards to the idea vacuum but once again you have to look at what Obama is up against. Ideas, he has presented "their own ideas" to them and they vote it down. Take the individual mandate provision of the health care bill.
